Whew, finally finished! :'D yes I have updated Afërdita's design once again, but after drawing her in a few sketches with these new one, I actually grew to like it u v u I did a few changes, such as removing that retarded long bang she had gosh that thing go on my nerves omg and I made her hair slightly longer to represent her time under the Ottoman Empire, and made her hair more wavy and darker. Hopefully I will stick to this design and keep it, or at least have it for a long while because I really like it tbh-

Both men and women living in the Balkan peninsula are known for being tall people, and an average height for an Albanian would be 5 feet and 10 inches, which explains her tall height, only being 177.8 centimeters. She doesn't necessarily work out or participate in physical activities and she isn't that good at sports, but she does maintain fit and a healthy body and a medium frame, approximately weighing 150 pounds. Afërdita has long, dark brown hair that reaches slightly to her waist, which represents her time under the Ottoman Empire. She has been growing her hair out ever since she was a child and she doesn't plan to cut it anytime soon. Her hair is held in a half ponytail and is wavy due to Italian influence during the Italian occupation of Albania during the times of World War II. Afërdita has three curls, the one that stands out would be a bent curl that represents the Drin river, the longest river in run through Albania that is 335 kilometers , or 208 miles, long. She doesn't normally accessorize her hair often, but she still wants to keep her hair clean and neat, and to be able to take good care of it, although it might be a struggle sometimes, especially in the mornings when she is rushing to get to the world meetings. When attending world meeting or in her military attire, she would keep her hair in a braided bun. Afërdita has light olive skin and deep brown eyes, although they do seem to appear darker due to Albania's environmental problems, which includes air pollution and smog in urban areas such as Tirana.
Moving on to her clothing, Afërdita is quite a fashionable woman. Women in the Balkan peninsula are known for wearing "bright" and "elegantly-designed" clothing, so looking at her wardrobe, you will see that some of her clothing, mainly her cultural dresses, are carefully and neatly designed dresses and skirts with patterned, adorned with soft and vibrant colors. Her wardrobe as well consists of Turkish clothing, in which she had adapted to during her time under the Ottoman Empire. Afërdita is a rather traditional person, so mainly at special events or occasions, you would see her in her country's cultural dresses. Another thing that tells that she's fashionable person is that she would follow the latest styles and trends, and she enjoys dressing up often and would try to look her best. At the world meetings, she would also try to look her best there and look formal, by wearing a button-down dress shirt of any color with usually a black skirt or trousers, depending on the weather at where the meetings are held at or the climate. As for her casual clothing, it consists of a white-button down blouse with rolled-up sleeves, a dark red vest adorned over it. Around her waist is a dark red belt with a thin yellow lining called a brez. To complete the outfit, she wears a long black and white traditional skirt called a xhubleta. For her alternative outfit, it is quite similar to her main one, but instead of the skirt, Afërdita wears black jeans with lace-up boots.
So you can say that Afërdita is a rather fashionable young lady.
[ Personality and Interests ] Being one of the oldest-living countries in Europe, Afërdita is shown to be a mature, wise, hard-working, and down-to-earth young lady. Being the proud and prideful personification of the southern European country of Albania, she is known to be the "awkward" and "unusual" one of Europe, from her tall her to being the only country who was able to cooperate with the Ottoman Empire while under his rule, Afërdita is really a lively woman and she certainly does have a lot to talk about her country.
When you first meet her, you may realize that she may be quiet and doesn't really talk that much when with a large crowd of people, due to that there are people who still don't know that Albania is a country. However, if you are a close friend of her, you may see that there is more to her than being quiet and silent. Afërdita is actually a sociable person and she enjoys talking and engaging in conversations, and she is willing to be polite and treat you with respect.
When in conversations, she enjoys talking about values, since the Albanian morale is mostly based upon the values of family, heritage, education, respect for the elders, and friendships. So if you want to befriend her, feel free to have a good conversation with her about your life, family, traditions, childhood, and others! However, it's best to avoid talking to her about personal relationships, such as dating. Bringing up that topic would mostly have Afërdita lose interest in the topic and most likely leaving a bad impression on you and she would be blunt and straight-forward with it. The reason for this being is that the Albanian morale is based upon family values, and Afërdita wouldn't want to have a conversation with you about dating or girlfriends / boyfriends; but hey! However, she doesn't judge people because of their religious beliefs and she doesn't mind having friends with different religions, as long as they don't shove it down her throat; she also doesn't judge people because of their ethnicity, class, or gender.
As a child, Afërdita was mostly seen as a pushover as she was taken over by many kingdoms and empires throughout her childhood such as the Bulgarian Empire and the Ottoman Empire, and there were countries such as Greece and Montenegro that wanted to take her lands. As she grew up, she had learned to stand up for herself and she is a rather fearless country, however she may be a bit dependent and relying on other countries.
Since Albania is becoming a rather popular tourist destination in recent years, she is very welcoming and friendly to foreigners visiting her country. Afërdita also happens to enjoy traveling and seeing new landscapes, since there are more Albanians that live outside of Albania in other countries than there are living within.
Being one of the oldest, she is mature, and is more of a big-sister figure to the personification of Kosovo, as the two maintain close relations and a majority of Albanians living in Kosovo. However, this angers Serbia, who claims Kosovo to be a part of Serbia, which leads tension between him and Afërdita, as the two often argue about it.
